Armed robbery took place in an Apple Store in Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands. The attacker took employees and customers hostage and demanded $200 million in cryptocurrency in return.
The event lasted from 17.30 to 22.45. The attacker threatened to blow himself up if his demands were not met.
Law enforcement and other emergency response teams intervened in the attack that took place in the Apple Store in the famous Leidseplein square in the center of Amsterdam.
Attacker Requests $200 Million in Cryptocurrency
The attacker requested $200 million in cryptocurrencies and secure exit from the region. After the negotiations between the attacker and the law enforcement officers, the hostage escaped and the police hit the attacker, who went out on the street, with his armored vehicle.
It was checked whether there was a bomb on the attacker and it was stated that the medical teams intervened.
