Apple is selling refurbished AirPods for the first time. The refurbished AirPods 3 are on sale with a 17% discount compared to the original price. AirPods 3rd generation model with MagSafe charging case is normally priced at $179, but retails for $149.
Refurbished AirPods Pro 2 is coming
There is a $ 40 discount on the refurbished AirPods Pro 2 model. Normally, the price of the headset is $249, but it has been reduced to $209. It seems that Apple has added the 2nd generation AirPods Pro to the store, but has not yet put it on sale.
AirPods 3rd generation came out in October 2021 and comes with updated design, force sensor controls, adaptive equalizer, spatial audio and MagSafe charging. Apple’s refurbished products are almost identical to brand new products, and Apple states that they have undergone a rigorous testing process. Defective components are replaced and the extra important cleaning process is applied for products such as headphones.
