It has been talked about for a long time that Apple will enter the automotive industry. There are many claims about the car that the company, which continues its studies on this subject, will produce. Although there is no clear information about Apple’s car yet, it is quite clear that the company is working on a car. Apple has further strengthened these claims with its latest move.

Apple continues its automobile studies

Apple has acquired the manager of supercar manufacturer Lamborghini. Luigi Taraborrelli, who worked for Lamborghini for 20 years, left the Italian supercar manufacturer in May. Working on chassis and vehicle dynamics, Taraborelli also took part in the development of Lamborghini’s Urus, Huracan, and Aventador models during his tenure at the company.

The hiring of Taraborrelli and the work Apple has done show that the company is still committed to producing an electric car. The existence of the automobile project, which Apple calls Project Titan, has been known since 2014. In this process, the team of the project, which was postponed many times, changed constantly.

While the Apple Car project, which is heading towards obscurity, faced many problems in this process, no result has yet emerged. We haven’t had the chance to see a prototype by Apple yet in the project, which is believed to have been worked on since 2014.

Despite all these negativities, the company has not finished its work on automobiles. Appointing Kevin Lynch, one of its senior software executives, as project supervisor last year, Apple also hired Desi Ujkashevic, who most recently served as security director at Ford.

We wonder what kind of model Apple, which carries out its automobile studies in a very secretive manner, will reveal. We will wait and see how the Apple Car project, which has been worked on for a long time, will come up with innovations. The year 2024 is shown as the introduction date of the company’s electric vehicle, which is expected to be largely autonomous. However, as before, this date may still be postponed.

So what do you think about Apple’s automobile work? Do you think we will see Apple Car soon? You can share your views with us in the comments section.
