Good news came from Apple, which had problems with the delivery times of MacBook Pro models due to the quarantines in China. Shanghai-based Quanta, one of the company’s major suppliers, plans to gradually return to production.
Delivery times may be shortened
Saying that Quanta is the sole supplier of Macbook Pro models, Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reported that delivery times increased by three to five weeks due to the lockdowns in China. He also stated that the delivery time of some MacBook Pro options has been extended until June 2022 and July 2022.
New MacBook Air to be released in second half of 2022
According to the DigiTimes report, sources close to the subject state that the supplier of the Cupertino-based giant has reached high order numbers from its production facility in Shanghai. However, the increase in the production of MacBook Pro models in the near future may alleviate the problems experienced in delivery times.
