Revenue from iPhones is 46.22 billion dollars!
The iPhone is still Apple’s most important product, accounting for approximately 49% of the company’s total sales. iPhone sales increased 5.5% year over year, and the company’s revenue from the phone alone is $46.22 billion. Tim Cook said, “iPhone 15 sales were better than 14 in the same quarter the previous year. Now iPhone 16 is selling better than 15.” he said. Regarding Apple Intelligence, Cook said that he was looking forward to Apple Intelligence, the artificial intelligence system for iPhones and Macs, and stated that they received great feedback from users and developers and that iOS 18.1 was adopted twice as fast as iOS 17.1.
Apple reports revenue distribution by product category, not unit sales, for its products. Here are Apple’s 2024 fourth quarter earnings:
- Total revenue: $94.93 billion (6% annual increase)
- iPhone: $46.22 billion (5.5% annual increase)
- Mac: $7.74 billion (1.71% annual increase)
- iPad: $6.95 billion (7.87% annual increase)
- Wearables, Home and Accessories: $9.04 billion (3% annual decline)
- Services: $24.97 billion (11.91% annual increase)
