Apple Pencil, the product that Apple offered for sale with the new generation iPads and especially popular with designers, first appeared in 2015 with the iPad Pro. Then, in 2018, the second generation of Apple Pencil came.
According to newly received information, Apple has received a patent for a new electronic device, and this patent indicates that a third generation Apple Pencil has arrived.
Apple’s patent application includes an Apple Pencil that can copy the textures and colors of other elements
According to the patent application, the third-generation Apple Pencil will include a light sensor and a light emitter to help me replicate the color and texture of a surface. This means that the third generation Apple Pencil can make it possible to copy the colors of the objects around you and use them in your drawings while drawing.
Even if it does release a new Apple Pencil, Apple won’t do so until the 2024 iPad Pro, which will likely be the first iPad with an OLED display. Because, as you can appreciate, it wouldn’t make much sense for the new generation of Apple Pencil to arrive before an iPad is released.
Based on Apple’s previous patents, it is thought that this device will also have a microphone and camera, apart from color copying. What are you thinking? Please do not forget to share your thoughts with us in the comments.
