Apple introduced its new feature Universal Control for Mac and iPad devices at its last WWDC event. It was also heralded that Universal Control, which allows users to control multiple Macs and iPads with a single mouse and keyboard, will be available to users in a short time. However, it seems that Apple has shelved it for now.
Apple has announced that Universal Control is due to spring 2022 with a silent update on its website. While you can only understand this from the “Available this spring” statement on the website, there is no information about why the application was delayed.
On the page you can access from here, you can see that the feature has been postponed to spring under the Universal Control title. So what devices will Universal Control support when it becomes available?
According to the list on the website, the Universal Control feature can be used on the following devices:
- MacBook Pro (2016 and later)
- MacBook (2016 and later)
- MacBook Air (2018 and later)
