Apple Music has managed to pass another bend. Apple has announced that its music streaming service now has 100 million songs. This is a significant expansion for its library of 30 million songs when it was released in June 2015, and it means you’ll likely find just about any song you want. The company also says it adds about 20,000 new parts to service every day.

100 million is a number that could give Apple Music an edge over its competitors. As of this writing, main competitor Spotify said it had “over 80 million tracks.”

The question, of course, is whether this benefit is enough to switch from another service. Because the important thing for many users is not how many songs are on the platform, but whether they can find the artists they love. In other words, if you can find the albums or tracks you listen to on a service you subscribe to, the 100 million figure may not affect you.

Still, it’s a fact that a library of 100 million songs gives Apple bragging rights.
