Apple’s long-awaited virtual reality glasses have been making some claims for a while. The VR set, whose future was finalized after the company applied for a trademark in the past weeks, aroused great excitement in all technology enthusiasts.
According to new information emerging today, the technology giant from Cupertino sat down with famous Hollywood directors for interactive content to be produced specifically for virtual reality glasses. Among these directors is Jon Favreau, who has his signature in the Iron Man trilogy and The Mandalorian series.
Favreau will sit in the director’s chair of a Jurassic Park-like documentary
According to the New York Times, famous director Jon Favreau will be screened on Apple TV Plus. He will be responsible for a VR-adapted version of the documentary Prehistoric Planet. Favreau, who previously directed the remake of The Lion King animation, is thought to have been chosen because of his experience in this field.
On the other hand, according to Bloomberg and NYT’s information, Apple may not introduce the new virtual reality glasses at the WWDC conference to be held on Monday. It is claimed that the virtual reality set, which is expected to be released in the third quarter of 2023 due to the incomplete battery and performance improvements, will be introduced at the event to be held at the beginning of 2023 instead of the conference on Monday.
On the other hand, it was claimed that the tools that will pave the way for application developers to develop software suitable for virtual reality set will be introduced at the event.
