It is estimated that Apple, which has been working on AR and VR technologies for a while, will introduce its new devices at the WWDC22 event. Some details about realityOS, which appeared in the past months, have been leaked.

Apple filed a trademark application for realityOS before WWDC

According to information shared by Parker Ortolani, Apple has filed two separate trademark applications for AR and VR technologies. Trademarks first filed on December 8, 2021 are relisted with a deadline of June 8, 2022.

WWDC22 keynote will be held on June 6th. Apple’s trademark filing will take place 2 days after the keynote.

It is stated that the applications belong to Realityo Systems LLC. It is noteworthy that the address of Realityo Systems LLC is the same as the address that Apple has used for macOS California in the past years.

Apple mistakenly referenced realtyOS in the App Store update details earlier this year. ROS, short for RealtyOS, was first revealed by Bloomberg in 2017.

According to Bloomberg news, Apple will introduce AR / VR devices with high-end features within 2 years. It is stated that the device to be introduced will have two 4K micro-OLED displays, 15 camera modules and an equivalent processor with M series chips. It is stated that the cost of the device will be around $ 3,000.
