Apple, which has decided to diversify its supply chain due to tensions and restrictions between China and the USA, seems to continue to shift device production to different regions. The technology giant, which has recently started to move iPhone production to other regions such as India, may include AirPods and Beats models among the devices to be produced in India.
Apple is reducing its dependence on China
According to reports by Routers, Apple has started preparations for the new Beats headphones to be produced in India. While Foxconn is expected to be responsible for the production of Beats headphones in the region, it is also said that some AirPods models will be among the products whose production line has been changed.
It is currently unknown which AirPods models will be moved to the India region. However, sources close to the subject state that Apple’s Chinese supplier Luxshare Precision Industry is focusing on increasing AirPods production in Vietnam and preparing for AirPods production in the India region.

As it is known, Apple has been reviewing regions such as India, Mexico and Vietnam to reduce its dependence on China for a long time. The change to be experienced in the production line, especially in India, is expected to benefit the company in terms of pricing and taxes.
