In a new report shared by Bloomberg today, Apple analyst Mark Gurman said that the company is not planning a new HomePod Mini model. As it is known, in the new update shared for the HomePod Mini, Apple has activated a hidden temperature and humidity sensor that the device has had since its launch.
Therefore, it seems more likely that Apple will add different features to the current version, rather than a HomePod Mini that will be released in the future. It should also be noted that the 2nd generation HomePod does not offer different features than the current mini version.
While the new HomePod Mini has been shelved, leaks suggest that Apple is working on different home products. Because in August, Mark Gurman stated that the company has developed an iPad-like smart display that combines Apple TV, camera and HomePod functionality in a single offering. This device is expected to be introduced in 2024.
