A new development has been made regarding technology giant Apple’s highly anticipated M3 processor. Famous technology analyst Ming-Chi Kuo announced the expected date for mass production of M3 processors. The new generation processor is expected to come with significant performance increases compared to Apple’s latest processor, the M2.
Mass production will begin in 2023
According to Ming-Chi Kuo’s analysis, Apple’s next-generation processor will go into mass production in the second half of 2023. The other processors of the series, M3 Max and Pro, are expected to be released in the first quarter of 2024.
The latest processors that Apple introduced to the market had 5nm technology. The technology giant, which started to use 3nm technology in the new generation processors it introduced, will produce 3nm in both M3 and A17 Bionic processors.
It is known that 3nm processors will be included in MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iMac and Mac Mini products. The fact that it will be used especially by the MacBook Air has been greatly appreciated by the user. Everyone is looking forward to the release of the powerful and efficient processor M3.
