According to the Bloomberg report, Apple has entered the testing phase in the M2 series.
ARM-based processors began to replace x86 architecture, thanks to low power consumption and high performance. After Apple, AMD and Intel also accelerated their work for ARM-based processors.

9to5Mac has revealed some information about the models the company is working on. According to the leaked information, Apple started to develop the MacBook Air model with the Apple Silicon M2 chipset with the code J413. The developed M2 processor will have 8 cores and 10 graphics cores. It is estimated that the M2, which is stated to be inspired by the Apple A15 Bionic processor, will have similar results to the M1 processor in terms of performance.
The company is testing the M2 family on nine new Mac models. Stating that four different M2 processors will be released, Bloomberg announced that they could not obtain information about the tested devices.
Standard M2 processor is estimated to be tested in MacBook Air, Mac Mini and entry-level MacBook Pro. It is stated that the M2 Pro model will come with 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros.
According to leaked information, Apple has also started testing the Mac Mini model with M1 Pro and M1 Max processors. It is estimated that the new models will be introduced in 2022.
