There was a big surprise at the event, as Ultra was added to the processor family while the M1 Pro and M1 Max models were expected to be used in new computers. Here are the Apple M1 Ultra features with all the details!

What are the Apple M1 Ultra features?

Apple announced at this event a hidden feature on M1 Max processors called Ultra Fusion. Thanks to this feature, the two processors join forces by communicating with each other at an astonishing 2.5 TB/s speed, and this processor, called M1 Ultra, emerges.

16 cores of the 20 core processor work for high performance and 4 cores for energy efficiency. Supporting up to 128GB of RAM, the M1 Ultra has a 64-core GPU, that is, a graphics unit. In this way, 8 times more performance is achieved compared to the M1.

Based on the 5 nm fabrication process, the memory bandwidth of the M1 Ultra is 800 GB/s. This is 8 times higher when compared to desktop computers. Apple Silicon processors both offer high performance and consume much less power compared to their competitors.
