Google delivered nearly 40 million Pixel phones!

Google introduced its new Pixel 8 smartphone series and Pixel Watch 2 watch at the Made By Google event held in New York, USA recently. Thus, the Pixel series, which includes many products, continued its continuity.

Francisco Jeronimo, Vice President of the world-renowned market analysis company International Data Corporation, announced the sales figures for the Google Pixel smartphone series. Accordingly, Google has made 37.9 million deliveries worldwide since the first model was introduced in 2016. According to reports, the brand sold 10 million phones last year alone. So there is a significant increase.

Considering that all manufacturers around the world have made a total of 9.1 billion deliveries in the last 7 years, it is possible to say that Google has a small share in this market. At this point, it is estimated that Apple, the brand’s biggest rival, makes more than 224 million deliveries per year. So there is a huge gap in between.

Of course, the important point here is not that Google has a smaller market share compared to its competitors, but that the table is constantly moving up. Because sales figures are increasing every year. In this context, we may see Google even more active in the smartphone market in the coming years.
