With its newly announced repair program for the iPhone 14 Plus, Apple will solve the problem of the photo taken with the rear camera of the device not showing the preview. It was stated that the affected devices were produced between April 10, 2023 and April 28, 2024, and a small number of devices were affected by this issue.

Which devices are covered by the free repair program?

You can check whether your iPhone 14 Plus device is affected by entering your serial number on Apple’s website. If your serial number comes up, Apple will fix the problem for free, assuming there is no other damage to your iPhone. Apple states that this program covers eligible iPhone 14 Plus models for 3 years from the date of initial purchase. If you paid to have your phone sent to service for this problem, you can also request a refund.
