READING NOW Apple is on the hunt for iPhone screens!

Apple confronts its users with many different devices. Each of these devices has different quality screens with different features. The company deals with many screen manufacturers for its devices and has them produce their screens.

In the past days, the company has reached an agreement with the Chinese display manufacturer BOE. After this agreement, the company started a new search and started to look for different screen manufacturers. According to the information revealed, the company is in talks with the Chinese display manufacturer CSOT.

Apple can get an OLED display from Chinese display manufacturer CSOT!

Chinese display manufacturer CSOT is evaluating its production lines to produce Apple’s OLED displays, according to its statement. In its statement, CSOT said that it formed a team to evaluate production lines, and this team is working on production lines to see if they are suitable for producing Apple’s OLED displays.

According to the information that emerged, CSOT produced an OLED display for Apple at the T4 factory in Wuhan, China. This screen has been reviewed by Apple. The company’s factory in Wuhan consists of 3 different subsections and can produce 6th generation flexible OLED displays. The T4 factory can produce 45,000 screens per month.

Allegedly, Apple will invest in CSOT for a demo production line if it likes the screen produced. After evaluating the efficiency of this line, CSOT will produce OLED displays for iPhones or Apple will invest in a Chinese display manufacturer for a second line. CSOT produced OLED screens for Samsung’s M models in 2021. In addition, the company plans to produce screens for the Samsung Galaxy A73 in 2022.

Although CSOT produces a screen for review, it will not be easy for Apple to become one of its suppliers. BOE, the largest Chinese display manufacturer, had a hard time offering the quality Apple wanted, although it made a deal. In addition, according to the allegations, it seems difficult for CSOT to enter the supply chain. Because BOE can already produce the same quality screen.

In addition, by the end of 2022, BOE aims to increase its monthly production capacity to 144,000. Before CSOT, in 2021, Apple could not reach an agreement even though it met with Visionox. So, what are your thoughts? Do not forget to give your comments and opinions below.
