Technology giant Apple will organize an event where it will introduce new products this year, as it does every year. It is rumored that the company has registered 3 new Macs before the event, which is said to be the largest new product show in its history. Here are the details…
Three new Mac registrations from Apple detected
Weeks before the highly anticipated Apple March event, Consomac has detected that three new Macs have been registered in its Eurasian regulatory database. This means that it has received EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission) certification for its products. It is said that one of the products with model numbers A2615, A2686 and A2681 is a laptop.
Towards the end of January, we saw that the company received ECC certificates for iPhone SE+ 5G and iPad Air 5. These certificates show that the products are suitable for sale in the European market, so they can be offered for sale in a short time.
Bloomberg said that Apple plans to hold the expected virtual event on March 8. He also hinted that a new Mac might be waiting for us at this event. There is some truth to this possibility, though not certain, as Apple products are usually seen in the Eurasian database 1 to 3 months before they are released.
Although the Eurasian database often gives us clues, the timing is not always limited to a few months. Sometimes only model identifiers are published for almost a year before the actual product. Therefore, there is no certainty about the future of the registered products.
Alongside all this, considering that Apple has said the Apple Silicon transition will take place in two years, we will expect a lot of Macs this year. A second-generation Apple Silicon MacBook Air with a notable chassis redesign is also rumored to be ready for later in the year.
