Introducing the next generation Mac Studio
Design-wise, it’s hard to distinguish the new Mac Studio from the old one. However, the real upgrade is in the processor and performance. According to Apple, the new M2 Ultra processor offers 24-core CPU, 76-core GPU, 32-core Neural Engine and up to 192GB of combined memory support. On paper, it should be noted that the new processor is based on the M2 Max chip introduced in the new generation MacBook Air. But there is a big leap forward here.
On the back of the Mac Studio are four Thunderbolt 4 ports, a 10Gb Ethernet port, an HDMI port and two USB-A ports. On the front, there are two USB-C and SD card slots. In addition, Mac Studio with M2 Ultra, which supports up to six Pro Display XDRs, comes with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 support.
