It was expected and Apple introduced the new iPhone SE model. The phone represents the third generation of the iPhone SE series. The previous iPhone SE was released in 2020.
iPhone SE 2022 has the A15 Bionic chipset just like the new flagship iPhones, namely the iPhone 13 series. The back of the case is made of Ceramic Shield glass. The front, on the other hand, is no different from previous models. So again, the bezels, the home button and of course the Touch ID welcome us. The Retina HD LCD screen is also 4.7 inches in size.
iPhone SE also comes with IP67 dust and water resistance.
The most important feature of the new iPhone SE is that it comes with 5G connectivity. Apple also says the phone will have “better battery life,” but as usual, the battery’s capacity has not been disclosed.
The phone has a single 12 MP rear camera. Of course, Apple claims that the sensor has been improved. However, we will only be able to confirm how true this claim is after our tests.
iPhone SE 2022 will come with iOS 15, as you can imagine. Pre-orders begin on March 11 and the phone will go on sale on March 18. The price is slightly higher than we’ve heard in previous leaks: $429.
