Cuppertino-based technology giant Apple is preparing to start mass production of the iPhone 14 series in the coming weeks. According to the reports, the company, which has accelerated its efforts to reduce the supply problems in the global market, has already started to take new measures.
The number of suppliers of iPhone 14 is increasing
In a new post on Twitter, Ming-Chi Kuo reported that Chinese integrated circuit manufacturer SG Micro has passed quality approval for high-end iPhone 14 models and has been added to Apple’s supplier list. However, the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max models will use the Chinese manufacturer’s integrated circuits that control the battery and voltage level.

Saying that SG Micro will supply parts for Apple’s high-end devices for the first time, Kuo thinks that this will increase the sales of the Chinese company and accelerate iPhone 14 shipments. As is known, the Covid-19 shutdowns in May caused a three-week delay in iPhone production. With SG Micro, Apple’s increasing number of suppliers can alleviate problems in production.
