The iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models, whose technical features were leaked in the past months, came up with a new claim. According to the report published by 9to5Mac, Apple will use the Taptic Engine instead of the physical key in the iPhone 15 Pro family.
iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models will come with Taptic Engine
The iPhone 15 Pro models are expected to be the first to feature an A-series chip built on TSMC’s next-generation 3nm technology. It is estimated that the 3nm chip technology will increase the processing performance by 10 to 15 percent and at the same time reduce power consumption by up to 35 percent. It is worth noting that the A17 Bionic processors will only be used in iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models.
Apple will appear with a dynamic island in all four models. The company, which is stated to use a titanium frame in Pro models, will include Type-C technology in the iPhone 15 series. The iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models will have Taptic Engine technology instead of the volume up/down button. It is stated that the change made will increase the water resistance of the devices.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max, which is stated to be released with a titanium case, will be presented to users with rounded edges. Apple will enlarge the camera island in addition to the titanium case in the iPhone 15 Pro Max model. It is among the leaked information that the device will be introduced with a larger camera protrusion and wide camera lens.
It is speculated that Apple will use Sony’s latest “state-of-the-art” image sensors for the iPhone 15 models. Sony uses semiconductor architecture, which allows more photodiodes by placing photodiodes and transistors in separate layers.
Allegedly, Apple will include a 1-inch Sony IMX903 sensor in the iPhone 15 Pro Max model. It is stated that the main camera of the device will be 48 Megapixels.
