Apple made a statement after images showing color changes and fingerprints on the case of the iPhone 15 Pro Blue and Natural Titanium model were shared on social media. Apple explains: “The oil on your skin can temporarily change the color of the body. Wiping your iPhone with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth will restore its original appearance.”
Both the front and back of the iPhone 15 Pro are still glass. The stainless steel side frame has been replaced with a new frame made of titanium, which is both stronger and lighter. Due to the titanium, the frame no longer has a glossy, but brushed look. Apart from this, the cleaning recommendation for iPhone 15 Pro is the same as other iPhones. Apple advises users to disconnect all cables before cleaning the phone and not to use compressed air or cleaning solutions.
