Apple has added a new contract manufacturer to its supply chain. According to the news of DigiTimes, Wingtech Technology, headquartered in China, will take part in the production of the recently introduced MacBook Air model with the M2 processor.

Wingtech Technology will be the third contract manufacturer in the MacBook supply chain after Quanta Computer and Foxconn. Apple previously worked with this company, but was removed from the supply chain for producing defective products.
