According to Ming-Chi Kuo, a reliable Apple source, Apple is working together for both humanoid and non-humanitarian robots to develop new generation smart home devices. Analyst said in a sharing on X, Apple is “at the stage of proved early in the company”.
Kuo says that while the industry discussed the benefits of “humanoid and non -human designs, it shows that supply chain controls attach importance to Apple’s ways of creating more perception than robots with robots. Analyst states that Apple uses an anthropomorphic style instead of a humanoid style, and “perception equipment and software serves as basic technologies”.
Previous reports suggest that Apple can introduce the first desktop device with a robotic arm by 2027, but Kuo thinks that such a device will not be introduced before 2028. He also states that Apple is unusual in sharing some of the robotic research during the early concept evidence proof. Analyst says that this behavior, which is different from the usual, may be to draw more talented people to these new studies.
Recently, company researchers shared some examples of use for a non -anthropomorphic robot. In one of these shares, there was also a video in which the robot interacted with the environment around it, and some interesting ideas, such as illuminating a book, a table or a wall and responding to human input.
So Kuo, in his sharing in X, said, “People usually talk about stages such as NPI, EVT and MP when discussing Apple’s product development, but the concept proof tends not to attract much attention, and added:“ Concept proof, basically Apple’s test. It is its field and confirms whether product ideas and basic technologies are applicable before the official start. Apple’s foldable phone, which is the subject of rumors, is currently under the stage of proof of the concept. However, many projects never go beyond concept evidence – Apple Car is probably the most remarkable example of the projects that are stuck at this stage. ”
