In tech companies, privacy is critical to keeping up with the competition. For this reason, many companies make great efforts to ensure that the information about the products they are working on is not deciphered. However, we witness dozens of leaks every day.

Apple is one of the companies most exposed to information leaks. In a security operation, the Cupertino giant identified and fired an employee who leaked data about their new products. The company did this by giving false information about upcoming products to employees suspected of being the source of the leaks.

Twitter has shut down

As you may remember, Twitter user @analyst941 recently shared information about the iOS 17 operating system and other Apple products. He gave different release dates for the iPad versions of Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro.

Thus, Apple officials learned that @analyst941 account belonged to a man whose sister works at Apple. The employee was fired. Fearing that Apple would sue him and his sister, the user permanently disabled his Twitter account.
