Pavel Durov, the boss of Telegram, recently made a hard exit to Apple. Durov stated that they prepared a revolutionary update for Telegram, but Apple did not turn against it.

The details of the shootout between Apple and Telegram became clear today. According to the news, the reason for the tension was the ‘Telemoji’, that is, the animated emojis feature, which will come with the new update of Telegram. However, the fact that Apple did not allow this new feature caused a little confusion. Today, Apple broke his stubbornness and announced that Telegram’s new update was approved.

More animated emojis are coming to Telegram

Telegram already has a few animated emojis, but with this update, business will be taken to the next level. Users can now add multiple animated emojis to their messages. Telegram named these new animated emoji packs ‘Telemoji’.

Apple initially did not approve of this emoji update, or even did not respond at all. Later it turned out that the reason for this is that Telegram’s new animated emojis are very similar to the internal emojis of the iOS operating system.

Now, Telegram’s update has been approved by the App Store review team. However, currently this version does not include the animated emoji pack that resembles Apple’s emojis. Telegram boss Durov stated that in the long run, more unique animated emojis will be coming to Telegram’s Telemoji.
