Good news came from Apple for iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro users. So much so that the free repair program, which was launched due to the headphone sound problems experienced in the iPhone models in question, has been extended for another year.

iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro models with sound problems will be repaired free of charge
The company previously confirmed the sound problems experienced due to the breakdown of a component in the headphone module on the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro models and launched a two-year free repair program. Now, the said repair program has been extended for another year.
Thus, devices manufactured between October 2020 and April 2021 with headphone sound problems will be repaired free of charge by Apple authorized services for up to three years after the first retail sale.
Apple states that if there is no sound from the headset when a call is made on the iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 Pro, the devices may be eligible for the repair program and recommends that users contact Apple authorized services.
Let’s also underline that the headphone sound problem in iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro models is not found in iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max models.
