iPhone 8 Logic Board Repair Program has ended

The ‘iPhone 8 Logic Board Repair Program’, which has been going on since 2018, was terminated as 2021 was close to completion. Officially launched in August 2018 and covering “a very small fraction” of iPhone 8s sold, the program provided free replacement of defective Logic Boards (Apple of Motherboard).

iPhone 8 models sold from September 2017 to March 2018 in China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Macau, New Zealand, and the United States were affected by the motherboard problem. Apple, on the other hand, announced that these users can change the Logic Board for free if they wish.

The problem with the motherboard was causing the phone to reboot and become unresponsive in some cases. The program, which has been going on for more than 3 years, was terminated as of October 2021.
