Apple can’t get enough of records

Having entered an unstoppable rise especially during the pandemic period, Apple has become both the most valuable company in the world and the leader of the smartphone market. In the last quarter of last year, it broke one of the records we are used to.

Breaking the record by exceeding the $100 billion revenue threshold for the first time last year, Apple has surpassed the $120 billion threshold for the first time this year. The unstoppable company is siphoning off a huge portion of the total profits of the smartphone market.

In the last quarter of last year, the company’s revenue amounted to 123.9 billion dollars. The highest number of device sales in history was in this period. Net profit, on the other hand, broke a new record with $34.63 billion. The increase was 43.8 percent.

With the number of active devices approaching 2 billion, Apple’s revenue from iPhone sales was 71.6 billion, while iPad sales were 7.2 billion dollars, but there is a slight decrease due to the chip crisis. Mac sales were $10.9 billion, and wearable device and home accessory sales were $14.7 billion. The service category, on the other hand, broke a new record with 19.5 billion dollars.

Apple expects the global chip crisis to loosen up a bit during this period. After this record achieved despite the crisis, it started to wonder what could happen with the relaxation. We may see new records this year.
