According to a report by The Wall Street Journal, Apple finds it objectionable for employees to use external artificial intelligence tools. The reason for this is that confidential data belonging to the company will leak out.
The company has banned ChatGPT and Github’s Copilot created by OpenAI. The Wall Street Journal stated that Apple is demanding that company employees stay away from external platforms as it has developed a similar artificial intelligence tool.
Previously, JPMorgan Chase and Verizon have made similar moves. In particular, ChatGPT has brought criticism as well as its increasing reputation.
