Apple AirPods Pro 2 looks set to come with several new features, according to recent leaks, including support for Apple Lossless (ALAC) audio and a charging case that appears in the Find My app so you can see its location.
The claim, voiced by leak master Ming-Chi Kuo, says that the design of Apple’s new headset will also be renewed and will be released in the fourth quarter of 2022, that is, between October and December. Currently, no AirPods support lossless audio. It is thought that AirPods Pro 2 will use another protocol besides Bluetooth for more stable and high quality audio streaming.
AirTag will be used to monitor the charging box. You will be able to see the box within the Find My app and have it sound an audible signal if it is lost.
Although not as big a market for Apple as the iPhone, AirPods are a pretty successful product line. The long-awaited AirPods Pro 2, on the other hand, is a candidate to create a new momentum in the wireless headphone industry.
