Qualcomm’un Snapdragon 8 Elite processor introduced in October last year, the successor of the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2’s antutu performance results were leaked. The new generation processor is expected to be released in October, and although the official name of the processor has not yet been finalized, the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 is now known.According to leaks from China, the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 managed to get approximately 3.8 million points in Antutu Benchmark tests. To compare, the iQOO 13, which is currently at the top of the Antut lists, received 2.69 million points with Snapdragon 8 Elite. This shows that Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 offers a performance increase of about 41 %.
It will be a strong successor
The new chip will be equipped with the second generation Oion CPU developed by Qualcomm. There will be two premium cores and six performance core in the processor. Adreno 840 GPU will be on the graphics unit. Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 is expected to provide higher performance and energy efficiency by passing through the 3nm production process of TSMC.
Although these results show that Elite 2 will significantly improve performance on mobile devices, benchmark tests are only an indication of general performance. Nevertheless, it is already clear that Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 will be a strong successor.
