Developed by Sony’s developer studio Insomniac, Marvel’s Spider-Man was first released for PlayStation players in 2018. The production, which has received great acclaim from the players since its release, has recently made its debut for PC users on Epic Games and Steam.

In addition, a mod was released recently for Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, which allows everything in the game to be changed. A mod developed with the release of mod tools drew reaction from some members of the community.

The LGBTQ flags in the game were replaced with the US flag:

A mod developer has released a mod that replaces all the LGBTQ flags in Spider-Man Remastered with the US flag. The mod, published under the name ‘Anti-LGBTQ’, was seen on the popular mod site Nexus Mod, and later on Mod DB, a similar site. In the description of the mod, the LGBTQ flag was insulted.

The mod, which also received a great reaction from social media, was removed by the authorities two days after it was added to Nexus Mods. In their statements, Nexus stated that they are supporters of diversity, and that they take action when they see a mod installed with the intention of opposing it.

The version in Mod DB was removed from the site after a Twitter user shared screenshots. Stating that it banned users who created the content and removed the mode, the platform stated that they have zero tolerance policies for such content and that they will not allow targeting marginal groups.
