Warren Buffett, one of the world’s most famous investors and known for his anti-crypto, invested $1 billion in a Bitcoin-linked digital bank in Brazil called Nubank.
As CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, Buffett sold some of his Visa and Mastercard shares and invested in Nubank, Brazil’s largest fintech bank. Nubank is extremely popular among Bitcoin investors in the country. A different type of bank from the traditional banking system, Nubank, unlike other banks, allows cryptocurrency in their transactions and offers products such as Bitcoin ETFs (Exchange mutual funds).
