Windows 11’s Notepad (Notepad) application finally achieved the expected artificial intelligence -supported rewriting feature. This new feature uses artificial intelligence to edit texts according to certain parameters, and allows the name to be expressed in different ways.
Windows Latest says Microsoft hasn’t officially reported that this feature has come out of the test phase, but rewriting is now available in stable versions.
The latest version of the Notebook (V11.2412.16.0) offers rewriting feature to all regions. However, this feature could only be used in the USA at the test phase. Therefore, it is worth noting that it spreads faster in the USA. The feature works in a similar way to the Word or Web’s Copilot applications and can reorganize selected texts according to style, length and form options.

When you activate the rewriting feature after selecting a text group, artificial intelligence offers you three different ways of text suggestions. The user can choose one of these options and make the text desired. Although the feature has a simple function, it is considered an innovation that will make text editing processes quite easy.
Subscription requirement and free usage limits
To use the rewriting feature, Microsoft 365 subscription is required and users must sign. However, the feature can be used in certain regions (eg US, Canada and the United Kingdom) limitedly.
