NASA’s Perseverance probe is currently studying an ancient river delta that carried liquid water into Jezero crater billions of years ago. In addition to analyzing the rocks, the instrument also collects samples to be taken back to Earth over the next decade.
Meanwhile, the photos Perseverance took and sent to Earth occasionally cause interesting comments. We have seen interestingly shaped rocks or strange formations in many photographs that have reached Earth before. The most memorable of these were “Mysterious Door” and “Mars Flower”.
This week’s photo is of a rock on Mars that looks like a battered cat. The left side of the rock is interpreted as the head of the cat. Some users said that they compared this rock to Wurmple, one of the 3rd Generation Pokemon.
So what do you think about this “Martian Cat”? We are waiting your comments…
