It is now very easy to tune guitars thanks to smartphones. All you have to do is download and run a tuner. Google has also added a chromatic tuner inside the search options to make things a little easier for musicians. This option works on almost any device that connects to Google.
To run Google’s guitar tuner, simply type “google tuner” in the search box and press Enter. The tuner window appears at the top of the results page, and when the user activates the microphone, the tuner begins to do its job.
The tuner looks like this on the screen:
The success of the tuner is directly proportional to the quality of the microphone of the system used. In order for some microphones to receive the sound correctly, it is necessary to bring the instrument to be tuned seriously to the device.
This tuner isn’t Google’s first breakthrough in music. Previously, with the “Hum to Search” option, users had the opportunity to hum a song that they knew the melody and couldn’t remember the name, and found out which one it was. This feature was enabled by pressing the microphone button in the Google search app on iOS and Android devices.
