Lots of iPhone 15 Pro rumors have been popping up lately, and the latest leak seems to confirm many of the design changes we’ve been hearing throughout 2023. An iPhone 15 Pro mockup posted on Chinese social media platform Douyin offers a fresh look at the anticipated successor to the iPhone 14 Pro.
As first spotted by PhoneArena, the Pro-level iPhone 15 features a USB-C port, slightly curved edges, and a combined push-button-style volume button. So, all three design elements suggested by previous rumors have found their place in these images.
Everyone was almost certain that the iPhone 15 Pro would have solid-state (i.e. non-physical) buttons, and this new mock-up appears to have non-mechanical volume, mute, and power buttons.
The existence of the USB-C port also seems like a formality now. The EU has told Apple it should add USB-C charging ports to iPhones by 2024, and this fake model, in addition to previous leaked photos showing an iPhone 15 Pro with a USB-C port, is what the company will switch to in 2023. is showing.
Since this mockup is most likely aimed at iPhone 15 Pro case manufacturers, there are some rumors that he hasn’t confirmed or been able to confirm. For example, the iPhone 15 Pro is expected to have much thinner screen bezels than the iPhone 14 Pro, but there are no discernible screen markings on this model.
It is worth noting that Apple may be preparing to switch to eSIM in countries other than the US for the iPhone 15 series. Since Apple usually sells the same iPhone models in the majority of Europe, SIM-free iPhone 15s may arrive in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal and many other countries.
Apple is expected to officially unveil the iPhone 15 series in September, but rest assured we’ll be seeing much more news, rumors and leaks about the iPhone 15 in the coming months.
