ASUS has announced the world’s first 14.5-inch 2.8K 120Hz OLED touch panel, compact and dual-screen new model Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED. Offering a large visual workspace, the new generation ScreenPad Plus offers its users a second screen for extra toolbars and utilities, as well as the opportunity to carry out their tasks on the main screen.
The second touchscreen, which supports the latest high-precision pens like the ASUS Pen 2.0, is 12.7 inches.
Thanks to its tilt mechanism, the UX8402 offers the advantage of raising the screen up to 20 mm and tilting it 12 degrees. This offers the ideal viewing angle for easy use between screens.
The other most important feature of the device is that it has Active Aerodynamic System Ultra (AAS Ultra) cooling technology in order to work cooler and quieter without sacrificing performance. The 2022 model promises more efficient cooling by providing 38 percent more air flow than the previous generation.

ASUS ScreenPad Plus with AAS Ultra is powered by the new ScreenXpert 3 software that makes cross-screen multitasking and creative workflows more efficient. The new customizable control panel applet gives users precise and intuitive control over their creative applications.
It also allows you to easily change brush size, color saturation, adjust layer opacity, and much more. The Control Panel can currently run in widely used production applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom Classic, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
Zenbook Pro 14 Duo OLED’s 14.5-inch touchscreen offers 2.8K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. The main touchscreen, which has a wide 16:10 aspect ratio for a wider visual workspace, is Dolby Vision and PANTONE certified.
VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification confirms that it offers realistic details even in the darkest scenes. DCI-P3 color gamut, 120 Hz refresh rate and 0.2 ms response time draws attention.
In addition to all these, the device, which has TÜV Rheinland certificate, emits lower blue light emissions, making long shifts in front of the screen comfortable.
Powering the Intel Evo certified computer, the 12th generation Intel Core i9-12900H processor has 14 cores and can go up to 5 GHz with Turbo Boost. Its maximum TDP (thermal design power) of 60 W means minimal waiting time for its users in CPU-intensive tasks. On the graphics card side, we come across the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti.
Asus includes the IceCool Plus cooling system, which uses two silent IceBlades fans with up to 97 3D curved blades so that the computer can always run at full performance. While the fans cool the two 8 mm heat pipes from the processor and graphics card, the new AAS Ultra mechanism can lift the screen by 20 mm, giving 38 percent more hot air to the outside.
This means that the CPU and GPU can operate at a combined TDP of up to 85W without throttling. The new Zenbook, which is also advantageous in terms of storage, also comes with up to 32 GB of RAM and an ultra-fast 2 TB PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD.
