The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has filed a lawsuit against bankrupt crypto lending platform Voyager for “deceptively promoting crypto products.”
The Federal Trade Commission reported in a statement in bankruptcy court that the Federal Trade Commission has launched an investigation into crypto broker Voyager Digital.
According to the agency’s document, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has launched an investigation into Voyager and its employees for “deceptive and unfair cryptocurrency marketing to the public.” The crypto firm has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy following the collapse at Terra.
The collapse of Terra Blockchain, which took place in 2022 and drove many companies into bankruptcy, dealt a hard blow to the industry. One of the best-known of these, Voyager filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in July 2022. Voyager served as a cryptocurrency lending platform before filing for bankruptcy.
