Can adopt ultrasonic fingerprint sensor
As you know, biometric security technologies have been in our lives for a long time, especially smartphones. There are even optical under-display fingerprint sensors on almost entry-level devices. Ultrasonic fingerprint sensors that detect dirty and wet fingers are still not widespread. However, this may change very soon.
According to reports, Xiaomi has started testing on the single-point ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. So much so that it is stated that this technology will be used first in Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Therefore, if it is successful, we can see it reaching upper and mid-range devices.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra expected features
According to current reports, Xiaomi 14 Ultra will receive support from the AMOLED screen that offers 120Hz refresh rate and 2K resolution on the front. This screen will be accompanied by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 platform and a 5,180mAh battery pack that offers 90W wired and 50W wireless charging. In the camera department, it is said to have a 50MP Sony LYT-900 primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 50MP telephoto lens and a fourth Sony LYT900 sensor.
