Although all eyes are on Apple’s iPhone 15 series, Samsung’s next flagship series is only a few months away from the expected launch of the Galaxy S24. Naturally, the details of the series continue to leak, and this time it is one of the cameras on the back of the Ultra model.
According to leaker @UniverseIce, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will use a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP2SX sensor on one of its four rear cameras. This is an enhanced version of ISOCELL HP2 in the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. While not the most exciting update, this sensor is sure to be a major innovation.
A few days ago, we heard that the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will have a display that can reach 2,500 nits of brightness, and that means it will be one of the brightest phone displays on the market. Adding to the rumors about the 2TB storage option for the Galaxy S24 Ultra, there is no doubt that the Galaxy S24 will be one of the best Android phones on the market.
As for the other rumors and leaks… there is some confusion as to whether Samsung will put Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chips in all Galaxy S24 models or bring back its own Exynos processor for certain phones in certain parts of the world.
On the design front, the Galaxy S24 series will apparently take some inspiration from the Galaxy Z Fold 5, with flatter bezels and edges. The Galaxy S23 phones were introduced on February 1, 2023, so we expect the new phones to launch around 12 months from that date.
