Binance launches transactions with up to 20x leverage for this altcoin
The exchange announced in a recent announcement that it will launch trading for Furucombo (COMBO) with up to 20x leverage. Leveraged transactions of the COMBOUSDT contract will be opened at 15:00 today. The COMBO price gained more than 20% after the announcement.
Binance completes the integration of Tether (USDT) into Arbitrum One and Optimism networks
In a recent announcement, Binance reported that deposits for Tether (USDT) are now active on the Arbitrum One and Optimism networks. Meanwhile, withdrawals will open when enough funds are deposited on the Arbitrum One and Optimism networks. The instructions that users in the official announcement should follow are as follows:
- Binance will support Tether (USDT) as bridged assets specifically on the Arbitrum One and Optimism networks.
- The bridged smart contract for Tether (USDT) on the Optimism network is managed by the Optimism Foundation. Additionally, it is not provided by Tether and cannot be used with Tether.
- Tether (USDT) on the Arbitrum One network is controlled by the bridged smart contract, Tether’s multisig. Tether (USDT) on the Arbitrum One network is a bridged token.

In another announcement, Binance Futures announced that it will close the USDⓈ-M 1000LUNCBUSD Perpetual Contract as of June 8 at 12:00. It will adjust the new leveraged rates according to the table below. From June 8, users will not be allowed to open new positions on the old contract.
Binance announces network upgrade for BNB Smart Chain (BEP20)
Binance has announced that it will support the BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) network upgrade and hard fork. The network upgrade will occur at approximately 01:00 on June 12. Meanwhile, deposits and withdrawals of BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) will be suspended from 12:30 am on June 12. According to the official announcement, users should pay attention to the following:
- Token trading on the BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) will not be affected during the network upgrade and hard fork.
- BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) network upgrade and hard fork will occur at block height of 29,020,050. The estimated time is for users’ reference only.
- Binance will meet all relevant technical requirements for all users.
- BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) network upgrade and hard fork do not result in the creation of new tokens.
- We will reopen deposits and withdrawals for BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) once we consider the upgraded network stable and will not inform users at a further notice.
