Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, made new announcements. There are delist, update, integration news for 18 altcoins in Binance’s announcements. Here are the details…
Binance delists four altcoin pairs
First, the exchange announced that it will delist four altcoin pairs. The delisting process in question will take place on December 9 at 06:00 CEST. The delisted crypto currency pairs are as follows:
- CVC/BTC
- CVC/USDT
- ROSE/BNB
- SLP/BNB
Users can continue to trade the above assets on other trading pairs available on Binance. Binance has announced that it will terminate its strategy trading services for these spot trading pairs as of the delist date where appropriate. Also, Binance advises users to update or cancel their trading strategy, “to avoid any potential loss.”
Updating “tick size” on some pairs
On the other hand, the exchange will make adjustments to the tick size (i.e. the minimum change in unit price) of certain spot trading pairs to “increase market liquidity and improve the trading experience”. It was stated that the arrangements will be completed in two batches on 14 December at 11:00 and 14 December at 11:30 CEST, respectively.
The change will not affect spot trading and other related functions. Tick size update will not replace existing spot orders. After the tick size is updated, the orders placed before the update will continue to match the original tick size. You can see the dimensions that will change in the table below:
Tether (USDT) integration complete on EOS network
According to another announcement, Binance has completed the integration of Tether (USDT) into the EOS network. So deposits and withdrawals for Tether (USDT) will now be open on the EOS network. EOS is a cryptocurrency designed to support large-scale applications. There are no fees to send or receive EOS. Instead, the protocol periodically rewards institutions with new EOSs to the network, effectively using inflation instead of transaction fees.
Announced the “dual investment” product for these altcoin projects
Binance is launching a new line of Dual Investments products with updated target prices and contract dates, where users can use “Sell High” or “Buy Low” products. The subscription process for new products starts today at 13.00 CEST. Dual Investment provides access to Buy Low and Sell High products at the price you choose on the date you choose in the future, without paying any fees. The cryptocurrencies currently offered are as follows:
- Sell High: BTC, ETH, SOL, MATIC, ADA, BNB, DOT, BCH, AVAX, FTM, ALGO, NEAR, ATOM, XRP
- Buy Low: BTC, ETH, SOL, MATIC, ADA, BNB, DOT, BCH, AVAX, FTM, ALGO, NEAR, ATOM, XRP
