eToro, a popular cryptocurrency trading platform, has shared its list of the most traded cryptocurrencies. The Shiba Inu (SHIB) leads the list. Here are the details…
The most traded cryptocurrencies appeared
Shiba Inu has been seeing a significant increase in adoption lately, as eToro US announced that the asset topped the list of most traded cryptocurrencies this week, surpassing Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH). eToro US shared the achievement on its official Twitter account this Friday, sparking joy among the global Shiba Inu community. The statement puts SHIB at the top of the list of most traded cryptocurrencies for the week, with BTC taking second place and ETH third.
In the last week of January, SHIB was among the top 3 most traded assets on eToro, taking second place just below BTC. This shows the high interest in the Shiba Inu among eToro customers in recent weeks. eToro US listed SHIB as SHIBxM (SHIB in one million units) in July 2021, after months of interaction and action with SHIBArmy. Shiba Inu has become the platform’s fourth most popular crypto asset as of now. In addition, eToro made the presence more visible by featuring the Shiba Inu in its ad last year to show its support for the SHIB community.
BONE and SHIB listing calls increase
The community has persistently pressured the platform to list the rest of the Shiba Inu ecosystem tokens: Bone ShibaSwap (BONE) and Doge Killer (LEASH). Amid promotions from eToro earlier last year, SHIB advocates intensified these calls to see listed assets. Searches have jumped this year. The community hopes that the rapidly growing interest in the Shiba Inu will trigger a positive decision from the eToro team as other platforms start listing assets.
This increased interest was fueled by the excitement around Shibarium, as evidenced by SHIB’s recent dominance of the list of most traded assets on the platform. As this interest grows, SHIB has also recently surpassed Wrapped ETH (WETH) to become the most traded token among the top 1,000 ETH whales. Meanwhile, the asset is on its way to recoup the losses of the past few days, up 2% in the last 24 hours, changing hands at $0.00001261, according to Cryptokoin.com data. Among the top 20 assets by market capitalization, SHIB was the highest earner in the last 24 hours.
