China-based electronics company Anker has entered the 3D printer market. The company focuses on reducing print time with its first product, the AnkerMake M5. Anker claims the device can reduce printing time by up to 70% compared to other 3D printers.
Faster 3D printing with AnkerMake M5
Anker has launched its first 3D printer under the AnkerMake brand. The new device, named AnkerMake M5, offers a standard 250mm/s basic print speed to handle detailed projects. In addition, the printer has an accelerated print mode of 2,500 mm/s.
Speed-oriented approach Anker does not only focus on printing speed with AnkerMake M5. The 3D printer can be ready for printing with a set-up time of 15 minutes. Thanks to its AI print monitoring system, the device will alert the user via the app when common problems such as layer splitting and clogged nozzles are encountered. It also allows browsing while printing the project with the built-in webcam.
NIO developing smartphone: wants to rival Apple
Pre-orders for the AnkerMake M5 have started. The device is expected to be available to customers in November this year, with a retail price of $759.
