Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş is one of the political figures closely interested in new technologies. Slowly making statements in different sectors such as cryptocurrencies from time to time, he made another remarkable statement yesterday. Mansur Yavaş, who talked about the relationship between Ankara and Metaverse technology in these statements, announced that our capital was included in a test program.
A company called Open Ar Cloud Association is working on cloud solutions to bring the real world to the virtual world. The company, which also offers free services for developers, has continued testing for Bari, Helsinki and Los Angeles in the past. Now Ankara has been added to these. Mansur Yavaş announced that Ankara is the 4th test city of Open Ar Cloud Association.
Ankara’s Metaverse integration will be done
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş made the following statements: “After Los Angeles, Bari and Helsinki, our Ankara has become the 4th test city of the Open Ar Cloud Association, which develops standards for Metaverse to be open and interoperable. We will complete the Metaverse integration with our BLD 4.0 vision, and we will be there with our actions.”
Mansur Yavaş’s Metaverse initiative is, as he himself stated, part of his BLD 4.0 vision. So what is BLD 4.0? Mansur Yavaş mentioned his vision of BLD 4.0 in some of his statements in the past year. This vision aimed to bring the municipal administration to the digital environment, giving the people of Ankara the opportunity to manage the city they live in together. The Ankara step taken these days, when digital life cannot be thought of without Metaverse, seems to be adopted by many cities in the following periods.
