Augmented reality startup Anima has launched an NFT collection called Onlybots, featuring AR-powered virtual pets.
As the long-lasting effects of the crypto bear market continue, interest in the NFT side is seeing a noticeable increase. Users do not hesitate to invest in NFT collections and exhibit them. On the other hand, metaverse and virtual reality are among the emerging technologies. In the midst of all these processes, Anima launched the NFT collection called Onlybots.
Anima Trends With Onlybots NFT Collection
Augmented reality company Anima allows users to get virtual pets. The company defined a collection of bots or users who impersonate bots. The concept of “virtual pets for bots to leave the world alone” attracted attention.
The Onlybots collection sold out as soon as it was released. The collection, which was offered for sale on the OpenSea platform, managed to rise to the fourth place among the trends in a short time. The NFT collection, which attracted great interest, was printed on the Ethereum network.
The company announced that the first two batches of approximately 500 pets were sold out in a short time. “ChatGPT is probably the biggest story in tech this week,” Anima co-founder Alex Herrity said.
Herrity, who previously worked on Fortnite, raised $500,000 last year from a Coinbase-led investment round. With this fund support, Anima was established.
